The Chamber of Commerce building was erected in 1956 under the scheme of the Roman architect Nino Manzone, in Farini Street.
The architectural lines that take inspiration from Northern European rationalism, influenced the style of the buildings that grew beside it in the ten years that followed, giving an impetus to modernisation, but also a detachment from the past, which characterises the development of the city after the war, passing suddenly from a traditional farming economy to a strong industrial presence.
